Frankie Ranft Obituary

Ranft, Frankie Herman 52, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2005, after courageous fight against kidney cancer. Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. 25 year member of Iron Workers Local #63, loving father of Scott Michael, dear brother of Anne, Alice Silveira, Cathrine Cilli, Walter, Charles, Daniel, James (Jenell), Matthew (Serina) and the late Rosemary, beloved son of the late Frank and Anne (nee Neary), fond uncle and dear friend of many. Visitation will be Sunday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Gatlings Chapel, 10133 South Halsted. Funeral Mass Monday, 11 a.m. at St. Viators, 4170 W. Addison. Interment private. Info., 773-881-4111.

"Just callin". Always dropping the "g" like normal people. Thats what you would say when I answered phone. "Just callin". So I'm "just callin".

Your on my mind a lot lately,more than usual. Your strength to keep going no matter what life dealt you was admirable. Fair and square and generous to all. Wish u were still here to have said all i could have to you in person. You were a good kind person.
