Frank Winarski Obituary

Frank J. Winarski 86, a lifelong resident of Secaucus, NJ entered into rest on Saturday July 6, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Grace (nee Rawlins) Winarski. Devoted mother of Kathy Marchesini and her husband Charles. Loving grandfather of Anna Marchesini. Dear brother of Harry Winarski and his late wife Kathryn, Brother-in-law of Barbara Sesty, James Rawlins and his wife Anesta and the late Anna & Rose Rawlins. Uncle of Kathryn Brinkrode, Max Brinkrode and William Sesty and his wife Victoria and their daughter Summer. Frank served his country proudly in the United States Merchant Marines and The Army in WW II and was a member of the American Legion Post 118, Secaucus. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Mahwah and The Secaucus Municipal Utility Authority. Frank was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 32 in Secaucus. He taught Safe Boating for many years at Adult High Schools. He was a professional Rodeo Roper who appeared at Madison Square Garden. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, and Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Thursday at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM Funeral Service. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank may be made to the charity of your choice.
