Mom,
I know it's hard to believe you could ever be strong again but you have to for Grandpa. All who knew grandpa have a horrible loss and nothing can change that but remember Grandpa was German and strong and would expect that out of all of us. Besides, he'd light the church for his family and now he just lights the sky for us with the sunshine of his new home spreading down on us until our day of celebration when God has chosen us to join him again. God bless my family through these tough times. I love you all very much and especially God Bless you Grandma Annie and remember even though Grandpa is not here he'll always love you and you'll always be the only girl for him.

Grandma Annie and Family,
Papa Frank was a one of a kind stand up guy and no matter what happens in our lives he will be with us as he was while on this earth with us. No one can ever be half the man Papa Frank was but as we move foward we must lead our lives as he would. We loved him so much and will miss him terribly till our day comes to join him in heaven. I send my love to my family and strength to Grandma Annie. We love you and remember we're only a state away if you need anything.

Dear Samp family:
You perhaps don't know of me, but I've known Frank Samp since I was a little girl in Lincoln School. He and my Dad were buddies. My Dad was Leroy Grabb and owned Leroy's Auto Repair in Joe Swiders garage on Irving Park Road. Dad has been gone ten years come Dec. 31. My deepest sympathy to you all. He was a grand
old friend.

Anne, Pat, Jennifer, Jonelle, Jimmy Tommy, Butch, Jeannie (sp?), and the rest of the Samp family;

My family and I have known Frank for most of my life, I'm guessing since I was 6 or 7 years old, and spent a lot of time with the Samp's and Andre's when I was much younger. I will always remember him as a strong, genuine, talented, kind, intelligent, above-board person. He was non-PC (got to love him for that), could always make you laugh with his dry, somewhat salty, wit. Frank was truly a good person, words can never describe him. He's a classic, and I'll always remember him.
