Plaia, Frank D. "Skush" age 77, passed away on September 11, 2005, beloved husband of Cherlyn (nee Schultz), dear fatherof Charles Plaia, Deborah LaRocco, Phillip (Charlene) Plaia, Clarisse (Carmen) Cellini and step-father of Nicholas (Betsy) Plecas and Matthew Plecas, cherished grandfather of Nancy (Tom), Jennifer, Cara, Michael, Nicole, Nicholas, Mark and the late Carmen and step-grandfather of Mikayla and Cheyenne, proud great-grandfather of Gianna, cherished brother of Rosalind (George) McLellan and the late Sam (late Marge) Plaia, devoted nephew of Vincent (Lee) Macaluso and loving uncle of several nephews and nieces. Also preceded in death by his parents, the late Charles and Clara Plaia. WWII Army Veteran and retired Produce driver. Visitation Tuesday, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St., South Holland, IL. Funeral Mass Wednesday, September 14, 2005, 10 a.m., directly at Divine Providence Church, 2550 S. Mayfair, Westchester, IL. Visitation at Church one hour prior to service. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be given to charity of choice. More info: 708-333-7000
