Happy Birthday Dad - I miss you. You were a wonderful Dad and special Grandpa. You and Mom richly filled our lives with love and joy in a strong Christian home. You gave us music, tamales and a great head of hair! You set the example of loving Jesus with all your heart and trusting God with all your might. I planted a rose bush today in your honor - the flowers are so beautiful but their beauty is only a pale preview of what eternity holds in store for us - when we will all be reunited again in the glory of Jesus. I love you - Kathy

Today is the celebration of your birth. You would have been 77 years old today. The Lord choose to take you home, but we will be together as a family to remember you as we all knew you; a God loving, happy and kind person. A loving and thoughtful husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. We all miss you so very, very much and still love you. You will always be remembered and always live in our hearts. You left behind so many beautiful memories that we will always cherish. We will never forget you my sweet precious husband. I look forward to the day I will see you again in the presence of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Until then, your wife: Marilyn

Marilyn Your wife of 56 years

October 31, 2007

To my precious husband of 56 years.
It has been 4 months since you went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for the assurance in God's word, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, to those who are called and believe." No more sickness, no more pain. God is so merciful. I know so well, how much you loved our Lord and prepared yourself for the day when God would call you home. Jesus just drew you so close to Himself, through the reading of his word. Frank, I know you loved the Lord with all your heart and shared God's word with everyone around you. I miss you so very much. I see your smiling face in everything I touch that we shared together in this life. I look forward to the day when God will take me home to be together with you in His presence. God's word tells us, "In His presence is fullness of joy, evermore" and I'm looking forward to sharing that joy with you in Gods presence. I still love you Frank, very, very much. I know, our marriage was made in heaven. The Lord gave us 56 wonderful years together, 6 beautiful, loving and caring children, 16 grandchildren, who we are so very proud of and last, but least, our four great-grandchildren. Lord thank you for our many blessings.

To the Hernandez family. I just learned of Frank's home going. It has been some time since we last saw each other, but now I have something else to look forward to when I too by the grace of God enter the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I will pray for Marilyn and family and remember you all before the throne of grace.
My wife Thelma was also called home to heaven on July 4, 2007, so she is enjoying all of the family which has gone before her to be with my Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.
My love to all,
cousin Gilbert

I will never forget all the special memories I have of you and the last moments I spent with you. We were all so blessed to have you in our lives. When I close my eyes, I see you, and remember everything about you. I will never forget the things you taught me and the life lessons you shared with me. To call you my grandpa is the greatest honor. I love you and I can't wait to see you again in heaven.

I cannot express the sorrow, admiration and utmost respect that fills my heart for Mr. Hernandez, his dearest wife, Marilyn and the entire Hernandez family. Class, elegance, generosity of his heart and soul touched so many, many lives. We have been truly blessed to have known such a genuine, kind and loving man. It was his true character and humor that would fill the room, because of his joy of life and authentic love of his dearest wife, Marilyn and family. Please know our thoughts have been and continue to be with you...

Frank: You will be missed greatly. You were always nice to everyone who was lucky enough to cross your way in life. Look at all the lives that you touched while on earth. I as well as my family, will never forget you.You and Marilyn always treated me and my family with utmost respect. I will never forget the wonderful conversations we would have at family get togethers. We would discuss everything from politics, to religion , to sports. I respected your love for music, that was our commonality that not many people knew about. You played the trumpet and I played the drums, both in the percussion group of a band. You can now play the trumpet for God,with his angels in heaven. You will never be forgotten!!!!!!!

Dad, I know heaven is even better than you knew it would be. We will miss you but will always carry the love of God and values you shared with us. We know you'll be watching over us. How rich our life was to have had a loving, caring, father like you. Your memories and love will always keep you near. We love you Dad...Laura & Bob
