Hello. You don't know me but I was a friend of Frank. I didn't find about about his passing until it was too late to pay my respects so I'm doing it now, although it doesn't feel the same. I worked at a bar called Franicks in Berwyn that Frank came to often. We got to be friends, even though I called him Tim for the first few years I knew him. I never knew that was his middle name, and he didn't seem to mind. He was a man you wanted to see walk in the bar whether I was working or not, for a good game of darts or a good conversation. I will sorely miss him. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends,
Brian

Tim's untimely passing has caused much sadness. He was good to everyone especially Mom. Those of us who loved know how special he was. Tim left behind a book of poems that he had written throughout his life. I would like to share part of this poem with everyone.
Is Dead the End?
A man never dies
as long as he leaves memories with wife, children, family and friends
they will live with him
in their hearts
laughing from time to time
with a thought of him
smiling as they think
the things he did
Each person remembers in a different way ...
The poem ends with:
It is funny how people remember only the good things about a person when they die ....
Tim, we have only good memories of you. You were a wonderful bother, I am so proud of you and love you so much. I will miss you always.
A memorial fund to benefit the Children's Burn Camp will be set-up shortly in Tim's name.

Life today is much sadder because of the loss of our great friend and member of the Chicago Irish Brotherhood's board of directors. Tomorrow is much brighter for all of us because we had the chance to know and be close to a wondeful man.

You were the Brother I never had. My best Man at my wedding. The God Father to my Daughter. You helped my Family through the 18 months I spent in Afghanistan. So many people will never know the person we have lost last Saturday. I will never forget you.
