O'Brien, Francis J. age 69, retired CFD, loving son of the late Patrick J. and Agnes M. (nee McGowan), devoted brother of Donald P. (Mary Anne), Kevin T. (Mary Lou), the late Rita M. (James) Hosty and Ann M. (William) Kovats, dear uncle of 19 nieces and nephews and great-uncle of 30. Will be remembered by many loving cousins and friends. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday, 9:30 a.m., from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 4950 W. 79th St., Burbank, to St. Bede the Venerable Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Retired 42 year member of the Chicago Firefighters Union #2 and 50 year member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 73. Veteran US Army.
