Both Fran and Rob, worked at the Kesey's in the early years, were good friends and part of the reason The Kelsey Road House was a success!!!! If anyone see's Rob please remind him that that my Ford Mustang beat his Mustang on River Road and I still have the $20.00 he lost that night!!!!

I was just snooping thru Facebook and saw Fran's post from January 2014. I suspected things didn't turn out well from surgery. I hadn't seen Fran in several years as I really knew him thru his ex-wife Debbie. Rest in peace, Fran. I know your family misses you deeply. Gwen

My wife Judy and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of Fran. Fran and his brother Rob worked for us at The Kelsey Road House in Barrington IL. while they were attended Barrington H.S. They were two of the nicest guys we have ever known. We would like to pass our condolences on to Rob and and all of the Donohue family and let them know how fortunate we were to have shared some happy moments with Fran and Rob. Just for the record Fran was one of the best pizza makers Kelsey ever had. Rob was our grill man and made us famous for our grilled Tuna and burgers! In those fun filled days they like to be called "The Brothers El Wapo"!!! Rob had the fastest Mustang in Barrington until he raced my mustang one late night on River Road!!! He was a good loser and only pouted for two weeks. As you can see we got to enjoy some good times with Fran and Rob in their early years.
We will miss Fran. Like everyone else who knew him, he has left us with warm and happy memories.

To all of Fran's Family.
I only recently learned of Fran's passing and am deeply saddened on the one hand but uplifted at the knowledge of his relationship with God. I worked on the same floor with Fran at Teng (I with Teng Construction, he of course with Teng and Associates). What an experience knowing an individual who could not shut up talking about his children especially Robert with his football prowess. My prayer for all of his family is that you live confident in the fact that your Father, grandfather, uncle or whatever his relationship was to you is comfortable in his heavenly home and while the pain of his loss will pass in time, the imprint he made on all our lives will live forever within us who knew him.
May God Bless you all.
Matthew 5:4

Miss ya Buddy. I will forever cherish our 25+ year friendship. The world just got a lot dimmer and heaven a lot brighter. You've left us way too soon, but the legacy you leave behind is tremendous. Rob and Jim are the the types of individuals that every parent hopes their children will grow up to be. Because of your guidance and love they will proudly represent your legacy for many years to come. But that's not where it ends, you've touched every person that you've ever met. I know that I am a better person for knowing you. Your ability to handle any situation with calmness, reason and humor is something we should all strive for. When confronted with difficult situations I often find myself asking, "How would Fran handle this?". I guess God decided he needed a wing man, I just wish he wouldn't have taken mine. Love ya Buddy.

What can you say Fran was one of the kindness and gentleness man I ever met. He and I would sometimes share rides home, smoking a cigar and telling each other of our families. He was ever the optimist. I as I am sure all will miss him dearly. Heart felt condolence to all.

I am very sadden by the news of Fran's death. Fran was a good friend and cohart during his time at Teng & Associates. Fran always was able to make everyone at ease with the streses that come from a fast paced business world. Fran was a very devoted Dad and loved his Sons dearly. I had time with Fran on various business trips to talk about our faith and I am sure that Fran is doing a High Five with Jesus and living large in His Heavenly body! My prayers and condonlences to the greater Donohue family.

Fran was always had a smile and a joke to brighten your day. He was an extremely positive person. Fran often shared the news of his kids with me when I would visit from out of town or when we would travel together. He was very proud of you and his family. I am sorry for your loss. I will miss him and I will feel bad knowing he is not a phone call away. I think I will keep his cell phone number programmed in my phone. Maybe he will call. God Bless you all.

Fran was a love life kind of guy. While working with him you could always find a smile or a good laugh even when others were worried or stressed. Fran loved his kid's and at work or meeting new people would say what joy they brought him. I hated when Fran left work due to his health, I will hate it even more knowing Fran is not just a phone call away. God Bless you.

Fran was such an amazing guy. He made a big impact on me throughout my years at Teng. He always called me "kiddo" and looked out for me. He was hilarious and respectful. He had this calming energy about him that was obvious to anyone who knew him. Fran was a truly wonderful person, and i am happy that i had the pleasure of knowing him.
