Demes, Francis beloved husband of Marlene (nee Philpot), loving father of Margeaux (David) LaGare, Joseph (Patricia), Marlene (Paul) Jockl, William (Cristy), Francis Jr. (Elizabeth), Laura (James) Galante, Matthew and the late Lucas, proud grandfather of 24, fond brother of Lucas, special uncle to Jeanine Munyon. Funeral service begins Friday, 10 a.m., at The Original Rago Brothers Funeral Home, 7751 W. Irving Park, to Queen of Heaven Cemetery. 773-276-7800. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m.
