Francis Chalke Obituary

Francis S. Chalke, 59, a resident since 1992 of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, owner and operator of Frank’s Lawn Care in Jaffrey, died at his residence on Friday, October 6, 2000, following a courageous battle with cancer. Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, October 10, 2000, 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m., at Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, Jaffrey. Services will be officiated by the Rev. William Beardslee, pastor of the United Church of Jaffrey. Burial will follow at Smithville Cemetery, New Ipswich, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Chalke’s name to Jaffrey-Rindge VFW Memorial Ambulance, P.O. Box 107, Jaffrey, NH 03452 or Hospice at HCS for patient care needs in the Peterborough area, P.O. Box 496, Peterborough, NH 03458.
