With deepest sympathy to the family of Rev. Francis J. Cerniglia.
Dear Heavenly Father, we are so grateful to have had Father Cerniglia such an important part of our lives. Wally has known him since 1958 and I since 1966. He has always been there for us as a guiding force in Wally's youth, serving our marriage ceremony 37 years ago, and presiding at Wally's parent's funerals. Truly Father Cerniglia always pointed us towards God. We will miss him but are confident to know that the Lord is lovingly and with open arms greeting him at Heaven's gate repeating Matthew 25:23 "...Well done, good and faithful servant;... enter thou into the joy of thy Lord."

I remember Father C. from St. Simeon's in Bellwood. I was in grade school and he taught religion class. He was full of energy and loved to conduct the congregation every Sunday in song and prayer. I haven't seen him in years, but he left me with great childhood memories. God bless you Father and my deepest sympathy to the family.

Dear Cerniglia and Queen of the Rosary Families:
Our parish has lost a great Pastor Emeritus. Father's gentle words and kind acts will never be forgotten. May Father rest in Peace and continue to bless us as he watches down upon us from Heaven.
With our deepest sympathy,
The Paglia and Danca Families

Almost 52 years ago, we were married by Father Cerniglia. Our name was spelled incorrectly on our marriage certificate.
Upon receiving a supposedly ''corrected certificate.'' once again, an incorrect spelling.
My husband said,''i hope Father, is better at creating long lasting marriages, then he is at spelling.''
Our condolences to his family and friends. He was a good priest and a great guy.

Dear The Family of Rev. Francia J. Cerniglia,
I'm so sorry of your loss. May you all know that he was a very good and kind Priest to everyone at Queen of Rosary in Elk Grove Village. I know that he now at peace and he with the Good Lord. And the Good Lord is the best caregiver.

Before I retired and moved to Charlotte, NC in 1999 I had the pleasure of being Fr. C's barber. I served him all the while he was at Queen of the Rosary and even into his retirement.
During that time left me with a lot of memories of our conversations.
I will keep him my prayers and those memories!
