Dear Ruth and Scott,
It has been such a long time since we all were neighbors and yet it somehow seems like yesterday. It is with great sadness to hear about your Mom. She was such a warm, caring person. I know you both will keep her memory alive for years to come as will all those who had the privilege to have known her. Our deepest sympathy.

Dear Ruth and Scott

What a woman your mom was. I feel so privileged to have known her and saddened by your loss. She exemplified courage, strength and determination and did it all with a smile and a sense of humor. I'm sure Bill and her are hanging out together.

Ruth,

I was so saddened to hear about the loss of your mother. Although I never had the privilege of meeting her, I can only imagine her strength, courage, and love for life…because you exemplify those qualities as well. I can’t help, but think back to the day you shared with enthusiasm that you and your mom would be sharing a hospital room as you both started treatment. After all, you were going to have a pizza party! I remember being in awe over the outlook on life you and your mother shared. So, even though I never met your mother, you both continue to inspire me whenever I think I’m dealing with a difficult situation.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family,

I knew Fran as a Penny Pincher---a group of women who tried to learn the investment world and its secrets. Fran was our President, who conducted our meetings with a smile, and never put down any member who was not as wise in "market speak" as she was. A kind, gentle, and strong woman. She will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
