In Memory of Francy
She was a marathon runner in the great race of Life
AFfectionately known as Dolly or Francy to her 5 brothers and truly represents the end of an era.
God made a wonderful mother and wife - A perfectionist in every sense of the word who really never grew old - remaining active, independent, and opinionated until her journey to heaven.
She cooked and baked everything from scratch shunning anything that was commercially canned or frozen. She made nearly daily trips to Jewel, Mariano's or County Fair in search of freshness , a sale, or a bargain .
In her day, her culinary skills would shame a Michelin starred chef . Her Homemade cannoli and ravioli single handedly crafted were legendary.
Devoutly religious and proudly fastidious in every task she undertook -
Always impeccably dressed and wrinkle free - Escalating simple couture to ultimate sophistication.
In her world even at 90 years of age cleanliness remained next to Godliness.
Well into her 80's she continued to to reach, to climb, to scratch, to get back up when she fell or had been knocked down physically or emotionally , to push forward ever forward. She was daring and often shunned risk to maintain her own a place at the table of independent existence. It was her recipe for living - her way .
Although her physical presence is no longer her essence will linger in the memory of her family and friends.
She is now dancing amongst the angels with Pop in the Grand Ballroom of Heaven
