I worked with Florin in CPS for the last few years and shared an office with him at one of our schools. I was so sad to hear about this news. He was such a nice, caring person. It really came through with his coworkers and students. Sending my condolences to his family.

Florin was as special as they come. He was my best friend and big brother. Right now, the heartache cannot be put into words. Love you always, brother.

Florin was a regular at our restaurant. He was one of those people that everyone looked forward to seeing, and the minute we saw him walk in, everyone smiled and came over to chat with him. He brought such warmth and positivity with him each and every time. Our entire team got to know him, and they loved him. He was a beautiful person, and we will miss him dearly. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends and loved ones.

My dear, dear friend. I have been blessed for you to call me your friend for many years!
We met in Florida, Mandra-you had asked me to find him a job!! We have been friends ever since-over at least 25 years. His sense of humor and never-ending kindness is what comes to my mind the most. He even accepted the fact that I was a forever Minnesota Viking fan as he so loved his Bears. We watched many games at his dad's and anywhere in-between Chicago-Florida-Minnesota. Every year I would hear, "Bears are going to the Superbowl Baby".
His love of his family was the strongest! Jon, Mandra and Tina-he was always giving me updates!! He also talked about his grandma, uncle and cousins.
This is an insurmountable loss. There is absolutely another Angel that had to be needed somewhere.
My deepest sympathy to you all.
