WILLIS, Florence Rose Ellen (nee Curtis)
Retired from Consumers Glass, Toronto. Devout Catholic. Avid bowler and member of the Happy Gang. Past member of R.C. Legion #101 Long Branch. #1 Blue Jays fan. – Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, May 6, 2013 in her 93rd year. Florence was the beloved wife of the late Albert (1992). Loving mother of Albert (Mary) and Sandy Garvey (the late Gary). Dear Grandma of Lauren Newbury (Vince Bierworth), Tammy Leonard, Tracey Garvey, Sean Willis (Karina von Stedingk), Jason Willis (Christine Ford) and Adam Willis. Great Grandma of Victoria Leonard. Sister of Alfred Curtis (Jeanne d'Arc), Noëlle Duprey (surviving husband George), and the late Albert Curtis (Lorette). Sister-in-law of George, Katherine, Donald and the late Alice. Special friend to Patricia Newbury, daughter Kate and family. Will be remembered by many relatives and friends. A Celebration of Florence's life will be held at the Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 10:30 am. In memory of Florence, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Epilepsy Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be made at www.comstockfuneralhome.com.
