Florence Monson Obituary

Mom, I will miss you terribly but I know you are in a much better place now than you have been over the past few years. You have all the time in the world now to be with Barbara, dad, your mom and dad and brothers and knowing that makes me happy for you. I have so many wonderful memories of you. How you always made me feel special, your enthusiasm for life and the world around you. I couldn't have asked for a better grandmother to my girls or great-grandmother to Tatum and Lanie. Knowing that you are watching over them brings me peace. Thank you for all you did for me, I am who I am because of you. You will always be alive in my memories and as with dad I know I will talk to you often.

I'm truly sorry to hear of Florence's passing, Florence and her late husband Lester were very near and dear to my heart. They were fantastic neighbors but were truly much much more then that. They became the closest thing in mine and my brothers life too grandparents. They took time to ask about what was going on in our lives too coming to my little league games and high school baseball games. They were at my wedding and apart of both of my children's births. I will truly remember them for the rest of my life, they were and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers as they truly made an impact in my life that I will never forget. God bless Florence!

I was sad to hear about Florence's passing. While sad, it did bring back many happy memories and thoughts of both her and Les. They were both wonderful people who were a positive influence in my life. Some of my fondest memories are of us sitting on their front porch talking about all the things going on in our lives. I didn't get to experience much time with my own grandparents & both Florence & Les were like grandparents to me. It was a pleasure and honor for me to be a small part of their lives. I know I am a better person for knowing them.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Florence was a treasure to me and my family. We couldn't have picked a better neighbor.
