Don:
I was so saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Florence. We worked together at the Department of Human Rights. It is so sad that we lost contact but I will always remember her warm smile and cheerful attitude that kept all of her co-workers in good spirits. May God bless you and your family, and may you find strength in memories of Florence's life, as you continue your journey we call life.

Florence was a wonderful, giving person. She was a Kiwanian in the Lindenhurst~The Lakes Club. We had a lot of fun together. She will be missed!

Dear Dawn -
I was so terribly sorry to hear about your wonderful Mother, Flo, passing away. Although I only met her a few times, her kindness and charm will always be a blessed memory.

Dearest Aunt Flo,
The days of my youth are far removed, but I can remember a time in my life when you were just as much of a mother to me as my own mom. You were the mom who kept us busy all the time with arts and crafts and the diplomat that settled disputes when they arose. I try to emulate your qualities as I raise my own children. You will always be remembered in my heart as a kind and giving woman who was, in many ways, way ahead of your time. The journey is over now. Rest well, you deserve it. Dear Family of Flo,
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we hear of the death of a delightful lady. We met her through Mel Kahn at Kiwanis. As you all know and recognize, Mel wasn't always easy to get along with, but Flo was such a delightful person that she could get along with even Mel. We all loved them both. We share your sadness at her death.

Dear Aunt Flo,
I wish I could be there for your
funeral. I'll always remember when
you came to Sarasota last year be-
cause of the Hurricane. And you
met my daughter, Ontoinetta, you
two got along so well as if you
knew each other for years, even though she's only 9 years old!
I loved you and you were a dear friend of the family. Love, Michele

Aunt Flo you will be missed. My deepest sympathy to the Kahn family. When I was little I always thought of Aunt Flo as a 30 year old teenager with the warmest hands I ever felt. As we all started to get older she never really changed all that much. Still the same Florence we all loved and cared for.
