Filomena Magardino Obituary
of Endicott
Filomena Magardino, 84, of Endicott, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Magardino; her stepson, Dino Magardino; and five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Trudy Magardino, Endicott; three grandchildren, Timothy (Christina) Magardino, NYC, Tammy (Ben) Andrews, Ginny (Dan) Armant, all of N.C.; four great-grandchildren, Breianna Magardino, Dexter Andrews, Zavian and Jaiden Armant; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Carole Magaddino, Binghamton, Carrie (Don) Mains, Calif.; a special nephew, Ross Fanara, Endicott; also several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was an avid NY Yankees fan and an excellent cook who enjoyed her family and friends. She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, Endicott.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, 4:00 p.m. at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott with the Rev. Patricia Raube, Pastor of her church, officiating. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.

Phil's door was always open, and she was always ready with coffee and a snack. The cookies she made for me to take to the UE SnowBall were invariably the first ones gone!
My family and I loved spending time with "Aunt" Phil and will miss her so much.
Now that she's back with Marty, heaven will be a lot more lively!

Phil and Marty were very good friends of my parents, Vita and Gasper Cosentino. I am so sorry of your loss of a fun lady and great cook. It is sad to hear of such special people at their lifes end.
