Martin, Ferris S. 87, of Morton Grove, formerly of Oak Park, beloved husband of 54 years to Florence (nee DeSort), cherished father of Barbara (Dale) Smirl and Susan (Bob) Griffin, loving grandfather of Martin Griffin, fond brother of the late Richard (Betty), He was Vice-President of Aon, formerly RBH Insurance; Vice-President of the Swiss Internees Association; and WWII Veteran of the 351st Bomb Group. Service and interment private. Ferris was a true gentleman. His kind demeanor and engaging personality endeared all who met him. We will miss his charm, his sincerity and, certainly, his wit. Our hearts are with his loving family in their time of grief. We shall add him, lovingly, to the hallowed register of those gone before him for whom we pray.
