Fannie Paslay Obituary

Fannie Gertrude Paslay, 80, of Kemp, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in Gun Barrel City, Tx. She was born October 4, 1928 in Fairfield, daughter of the late William Young and Laura Mae Fails. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her husband, Red Paslay, son Eddie and wife Patty Paslay of Quinlan, son Laney and wife Joanna Paslay of Garland, daughter Robin Strom of Greenville, brother Vernon Fails of Fairfield, Toby Fails of Fairfield, sister Linda Fails of Jacksonville, 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Laura Mae Fails, son-in-law, David Strom, and three brothers. Services were held at Lake Chapel Cemetery, Fairfield, Saturday April 4, 2009 at 1 p.m. with Bro. Floyd Loven officiating under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home, Seven Points.
