Furgatch, Evelyn age 82, beloved sister of the late Gladys Carman. Survived by David, Bruce and Mark Carman, her loving nephews, and by Fred Carman, her brother-in-law. Chapel service Wednesday, 3 p.m., at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. For info: 847-255-3520

Evie was a special, treasured friend whom I was blessed to have in my life. She was always there for me and will always live on in my heart. She went too soon from our lives - we never had the chance to say good-bye. So if you can hear us Evie - good-bye sweetheart, I love you and miss you more than you'll ever know. Thank you for being such a joyful part of my life!

Evelyn was a dear friend and a wonderful neighbor - I will always treasure our friendship. She worked tirelessly as President our of Condo Association and took such good care of everyone. She will be sorely missed by all of us.

My condolences to you, Fred, and your family. Evelyn and I saw each other at the grocery store every now and then through the years. With each converssation we remember Gladys and our "hairdoing" days. It was always nice to see here and have a chat.

Ev was a great neighbor and friend who was always ready to help in any situation. She worked tirelessly to keep the condo complex well maintained. I will miss her tremendously. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.
