Evelyn Constant Obituary
Constant, Evelyn M. (nee Bending), Mass of the Resurrection for Evelyn M. Constant, 88, a Native of Chicago, formerly of Chicago Ridge, will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2003 at St. Germaine Church, 4240 West 98th St., Oak Lawn, IL. Prayers at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, will be said at 9 a.m. Interment will follow the mass at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery. Beloved wife of the late Frank, loving mother of Norreen (Ron) Witt of Oak Lawn, and Dennis Constant of Fort Meyers, FL, proud grandmother of nine, cherished great grandmother of 14, fond great great grandmother of one, dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was the last of 12 siblings. Evelyn crocheted baby blankets for Hope Childrens Hospital. She was the Past President of the Chicago Ridge Seniors Club. She was also a member of The Oak Lawn Trinity Senior Club. Evelyn was a retired employee of Stouffers with 25 years of service. Visitation will be Thursday, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Vitas Hospice would be appreciated. Evelyn is my Grandmother. I miss her every day and still find it hard to believe she is gone. She was a vivacious, loving, generous woman - she was truly one of a kind. Her loss has left a void in my life that no one else will ever be able to fill. Appreciate your loved ones while they are here and tell them you love them. Don't wait until tomorrow. My Grandmother knew how much I loved her, and for that I am grateful.
