I remember so much from growing up with all of you. I fondly remember going to your house on Bloomingdale Avenue in Chicago. Boyscouts was always the best time. Remember the spaghetti dinners. :} I will ALWAYS remember your mom as a second mother. And all you "kids" as my second family. Keep in touch so we can get together and reminisce about all the good times.
Love,
Mary

To Beth and your entire family. I saw the entry in the paper and wish to extend my deepest sympathies. I remember meeting Mrs. Castellano with you back in the day and remember a loving, fun, vivacious woman and thinking "how lucky her family is to have her in it." Very sorry for your loss.

I am a former employee of the ELCA. Although I did not work in Global Mission with Evelyn and thus did not know her very well, whenever I had contact with her, she was always very kind, polite and helpful to me. I appreciated so much the way she greeted me so warmly and her friendly smile. She always tried to be helpful in getting me what I needed whenever I visited Global Mission and had contact with her.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Dear Eddie and family,
My heart stopped when I saw Ebby’s name on the obituary page Monday - I wish I’d read the paper sooner - I certainly would have tried to come to her service. She was my dearest friend for so many years. Time passed and we didn’t see each other often, but she was always in my heart. When we worked together at Thomas and Betts in the early 60s, we both were young and goofy and had such a good time. I remember watching a St. Patrick’s Day Parade with her on State Street from an open window in the bathroom at Marshall Field’s! There are so many memories - I remember your little house on Orchard Street when Michael was a tiny baby. I remember your 25th anniversary party - Eddie - probably the last time I saw you. I believe the last time I saw Ebby was when she was working as a rental agent in Downers Grove - about 1990. I never thought it would be the last time. My life was better for having known and loved Ebby.
My deepest sympathy to all of you.
