When I think back on Grandma I remember the most memoralbe Christmas gift ever. I remember being handed a big, heavy box and we were so excited. We opened it up and it was a box of oranges. To this day whenever I think of Christmas I think of Grandma's oranges. We will miss you Grandma.

My Memories of Beloved Grandma:
1) Experiencing her soft cuddly hugs as a little girl
2) She gave me my first sleeping bag as a Christmas present - themed as Winnie the Pooh
3) Pressing my little hand on Grandma's heavily hair sprayed hair to watch her hair move up and down without a single piece of hair moving out of place
4) Watching out for Grandma's and Grandpa's blue/red/tan station wagons on their planned visits
5) Seeing and hugging Grandma at Auntie Diane's and Uncle Chuckie's annual Christmas Day event
6) Enjoying Grandma's Famous Hawaiian Salad
7) Grandma making me my own special batch of Revel Chocolate/Oatmeal bars for Christmas
8) Grandma saying "OH MY LAND" after sharing a funny story
9) No matter how old I was, Grandma consistently remembered my birthday and remembered me and my husband/children at Christmas Time
10) Grandma's short and stubby fingers
11) Grandma never experienced a loss for words, she always was sociable, sharing her funny stories
Most importantly, Grandma's ultimate gesture of love for her granddaughter: Remembering my birthday on a day I experienced a tremendous loss.
I love you, Grandma, my memories of you will always be a part of me, and never forgotten.

I will remember Grandma as a strong no nonsense woman who made the best Hawaiian Salad in the world. I will truly miss her.
