I grew up 3 bocks away from Mrs. Joffe on Lowell Ave. in Skokie and she was my drama teacher when I was around 10. Classes were at her house and we put on 2 plays during that time, one of which was Macbeth. I really liked her and the classes a lot. Thank you, Mrs. Joffe. Ann Miller

No one was like Eunice. Her enthusiasm for life and her way of encouraging the best in those she knew and nurtured distinguished her as a parent, a friend, and a teacher. Her memory will be a blessing.

My condolences to you, Lora and Shari, and your families on your mom's passing. I remember good times spent with both of your folks and in your pool as a kid, and my dad and I helping your dad wire the cabana. It's probably been 30+ years since I saw Eunice last, and even longer for you two "girls"!

I knew Eunice through serving on the Board of the Highland Park Community House with her. She was such an energetic, artistic and charming person. We will miss her. All the best to the family.

I knew Eunice in the 70's when we were both starting up children's theatre companies. She was always kind and dedicated. When I met up with her again as a JRC member years later, she was delighted to see me, and I her. I will miss seeing her at JRC. You should be so proud.

Lora and Shari, upon meeting through Leadership Illinois, your mom and I immediately 'clicked!' I adored her and truly mourn her loss.

Eunice was the quintessential alumna of the National College of Education (NCE) at National-Louis University. A model of generostiy, dedcaiton, and professionalism in all her affiliations and professional pursuits. She will live on in the hearts of those that loved and knew her. She will forever be a part of the fabric of NCE.

I am profoundly sad for the family, for all who knew Eunice and those who never had the privilege. To Shari, I wish I could be half as supportive to you as you were to me when the tables were turned.

Eunice was my mentor, friend, and colleague. I will forever cherish the times I spent with her, and will keep her memory alive by continuing to do inspiring work that I know meant so much to her. Her inspiration, passion, creativity, and love for life and others will never be forgotten. My heart goes out to the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
