(nee Brown), beloved wife of the late Clarence "Chic", cherished mother of the late Clarence "Chick" Deacon Jr., Sally (Ray) Faucher, Joan Charlie Ward, Mary (Jerry) Stanley, Joe (Ginny) Deacon and Nancy (Dr. John) Mattes, treasured grandmother of 23, great-grandmother of 11, incomparable sister, sister-in-law and aunt to many, fond friend of all who came in touch with this strong and loving, inspirational woman. Funeral service Tuesday, November 2, 2004, 9:15 a.m., from the Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave., Tinley Park, IL, to Our Lady of the Ridge Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kristin Deacon Scholarship Fund c/o NLSB Bank, 11161 W. 159th St., Orland Park, IL or Sunday Mass at Mercy Home, 1140 W. Jackson, Chicago, IL 60607.
