Seguin, Eugene J. "Gene" age 64, November 19, 2009, late of Petersburg, formerly of Tinley Park, IL. Retired Pipe Fitter and 43 year member of Local 597 - Pipefitter's Assn. and Vietnam Veteran 101st Airbourne Division US Army. "Favored" son of the late Frederick "Fred" and Dorothy Gardner Seguin. Loved, adored and beloved husband of Catherine M. "Kay" (nee Shea) Seguin, treasured brother of Frederick "Buddy" (Carol), James "Jim" (Carol) Seguin, Bernice "Bernie" (Kenneth) Kremsner, Janet Muller and Deborah "Debbie" (Timothy) Neville, also the late Robert "Bob" (Bernadette - Berny), William "Bill" (Carol) Seguin and Carol (the late Jerry) Smith, brother-in-law of the late Con and Bob Shea CFD, special uncle and great-uncle of nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Loved godfather of Karen Smith, Margaret "Meg" Shea and Joseph "Joe" Seguin, numerous cousins, other relatives and a host of friends also survive. "Daddy" of Sean, Meg and Danny as well as other deceased felines. Visitation Tuesday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, November 25, 2009, 9:15 a.m. from Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave., Tinley Park to St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church, Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. "Best Human Being in the Universe." Memorial donations to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon, Kahbi, UT 84741 or VFW, 17147 South Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, IL 60477 would be appreciated. Dear Kay, I am a friend of the family from way back, a member of St. Adrian parish and close friend of the McPhee family. I remember when your mother died and how heartbroken your family was, yet you were all kind and suportive to each other. Now your Gene has joined your loving family. Take peace and solace in knowing that you are being loved and cared for now, by the heart and soul of your family whose love you carry in your heart.
