Eugene Chancellor Obituary

Chancellor, Eugene R. "Geno" Age 73, passed away on April 27th, 2007. Avid hunter, fisherman, outdoor enthusiast. Geno was also a successful small business owner, Golden Gloves boxing champion and overall extremely accomplished athlete. He will be deeply missed by companion of 30 years, Marilyn Lehn, son, Greg Chancellor (Terry), daughter, Jill Adkins (Tom), son, Al Chancellor (Vicky), Lori Cram (Rick), Lisa Magnuson (Darwin), Patrick Lehn; grandchildren, Krista and Sara Chancellor, Brett, Brian and Sydney Adkins, Jordan and Bobby Chancellor, Alex and Alesha Cram, Billy and Andrea Magnuson; brother Gary Chancellor (Patricia); and extended family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Woodrow and Irene Chancellor; wife, Audrey Chancellor and wife, Roberta Chancellor. Funeral service Wednesday May 2nd, 2007 11:00 a.m. St. Stephens, 2020 5th Avenue, Anoka, reception to follow. Visitation one hour prior to service. Private inurement. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Special thanks to the "Step down care" nurses at Mercy Hospital.

Jill, Greg, and Al,
When Geno gave up water skiing our sport lost a great competitor and a vanguard in the sport. Now we have all lost a great friend. As one of the first 100 men in the world to jump 100 feet in competition he was also a great teacher. He will always be a champion to me.
