Dear Ethel,
We can never forget the kindness you and Irving showed my parents. I remember how pretty you looked with your dark hair, sparkling eyes and reddish-pink lipstick. I have great memories of you. I sent a plant to the old address I had for you on Karlov that had the color of reddish pink that reminded me of you.

I taught with Ethel many years ago at NSJC Hebrew school. I valued her as a colleague and a friend. May her memory be for a blessing.
