Ethel Fowler Obituary

EDEN - Ethel Love McDaniel Fowler of 1014 Lincoln St., Eden, died Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 13, 4 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Danview Cemetery.
Mrs. Fowler was born in Cascade, Va. to the late Benjamin Franklin and Collie Allen McDaniel. She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills.
Surviving is daughter, Joe Ann Fowler Goad (and husband, Clyde) of the home; step-daughter, Nancy F. Gilley of Greensboro; granddaughters, Kelly Lin Goad of the home and Katina Ann Hopkins of Eden; three great-grandchildren of the home: Joseph and Jessica Stegall and Josh Pyron; grandsons, Wayne Maxwell Fowler, Jr., Steven Lin Fowler, Christopher Paul Fowler, Gregory P. Gilley and George Michael Gilley; great-grandchildren, Matthew Wayne Fowler, Jacob Landon Fowler and Eliana Nichole Fowler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maxwell George Fowler; son, Wayne Maxwell Fowler, Sr.; step-son, George Ervin Fowler; sisters, Maggie M. Gilley, Edna M. Evans and brothers, Clyde and Lonnie McDaniel, Sr.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 7-9 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home.
