Levit, Esther (nee Landow), 93, dear wife of the late Dave Levit, beloved mother of Barbara (Leonard) Mawrence and Karen (Buddy) Bass, devoted grandmother of Michelle (Murray) Mizock, Alisse Mawrence, Peter Bass, Gerilyn (David) Greenberg, great-grandmother of David, Samantha, Emilie, Lindsay and Chloe, loving sister of Rose (the late Kibby) Gart and the late William (the late Lean) and Al Landow. Esther is especially loved and will be missed by her many nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral services Thursday, 1 p.m., at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St.), Skokie. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
