To Esther's Family my deepest sympathy. My first apartment living on my own was on 109th and Keating. Esther and Mary lived on the top floors and I lived on the first floor. She was like a mom to me, looking out for me, making me food. She was a wonderful lady and am very lucky to have had the pleasure of knowing her. My Prayers are with her family.

To Esther's Family plese accept my deepest sympathy.
I worked at Carbide as an R.N. and she and Eileen Connoly kinda took me under their wing. I visited with Esther when she lived on the East Side of Chicago and what a lady she was. Marvelous and elegant dresser. Sorry will be unable to attend her wake. Am living in a retirement community southwest. Sincerely, Gloria Konsack

Aunt Esther was a swanky, beautiful, fashionable, strong single woman, a world traveler, generous, and exciting. She wore poppy red lipstick, long painted fingernails and a "what the hell" attitude. Aunt Es made me feel special, called me Kata...and Zelda. She showed me alternate possibilities. I love you and thank you, Aunt Es.
