Dear Yvette and Liz,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a father is the hardest thing a child goes through. Sr. Ernest was one my father's closest friend and a great man at that. My prayers and thoughts go to the both of you and your family. The saddest thing was hearing this now. We did not know that he had passed. Please accept our deepest condolences. May he rest in peace. For he is resting now and watching over you. He will be greatly missed.

Familia Avina:
Ernesto was a friend of my father (Tomas Cepeda Sr.) My father, along with several of our family worked for Ernesto at 'El Popo'. He was there for my father when he too passed away and was there to pay his respect. We travel through this life together, but not always finish together. May Ernesto rest in peace and may all of us earn that right when it is our time. God bless us all...
May the entire Avina family be blessed with these sincere wishes... and find peace, tranquility and happiness.
I hope we all meet each other on the other side of the 'river'...

Dear Margie & Family,
We remember Ernesto bailing us out at our wedding when we didn't have cash to pay the Mariachi Band. He payed them and got them to stay another hour. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. May God bless Ernesto and bring peace to all of you. Love, Sandra & Jack
