On behalf of Pease and Curren, I would like to extend my sympathy to the Whitehead family. For forty years, Ernie was very much a part of the Pease and Curren family. We are all saddend to learn of his passing. Ernie was a dedicated and caring man; this was reflected in his work ethic. Ernie, your commitment to our company contributed to our success. The chair where you assayed is still in front of what will always be: "Ernie's Scale".

Ernie was already working @ P&C 32 years ago when I started. Much to Ernie's dismay I sometimes helped him out in the lab. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
