Dear Uncle Ernie,

I will definitely miss you so much. I was hoping you would move back here and be with your family and you could have stayed with me. You are in a better place now but we will all miss you back here. I was always so interested in your stories about your travel and we were pen pals since I was age 9 when we lived on Ridge. I have a lot of good memories of you and Aunt Virginia from those years. I love you and don't worry about David and Michael because I will always be here for them if they need me. Patty

Uncle Ernie...I wanted to share this with you and your sons, with much love and comfort that comes from above. No one knows the time nor day except HIM. May peace comfort and understanding hold us up during these times and may we all acknowledge the ones that surround us now. Little did I know last year was the last time we would go golfing...By the way I still carry a wet towel to wipe my golfballa as a tip you gave me while we were out there. At the time I thought it was silly. But now, I do understand it was wisdom that you offered me. Much love and Peace Al Medina and Family

Dear Uncle Ernie, I share and feel your emptiness many miles across the vast oceans of the world and into the mountains of Afghanistan and it deeply saddens me but knowing that the All mighty God is alongside you comforts the soul. Ever since I was a young boy growing up you inspired my dreams fulfilled. Time continues and so will your legacy and goodness remembered.

Our love goes out to your wonderful family. We shared so many wonderful times together. Actually, every time we got together was a memorable moment.. We always left each other talking about the next time we would get together. Thank you for being our friend and taking our family in to your heart. Life will never be the same without you. Ernie, our lives will never be the same without you. You were a wonderful person and an irreplaceable friend. Our lives were blessed in so many ways by knowing you. From enjoying jazz at the Moosehead to chowing down at La Mexicana, we shared so many things with you, thanks to your friendship. You will live in our hearts and memories for eternity and we think of you daily. The world stopped for us the day you passed and we haven't recovered since. I don't expect anything to ever be the same without you in our lives. May God bless you and your family now and forever. Eternally, Dave, Marcia, Chelsea & Max
