I am so sorry to hear about Eric. I've thought about him and your family often over the years. He couldn't have had more loving parents and I wish your family well. Be secure in the thought that he always knew how very loved he was.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Feinberg,

I am incredibly saddened by Eric's untimely passing. Eric remains a source of happiness and guiding inspiration in my life; but most importantly, he was a wonderful friend. We haven't spoken in a couple of years, which I profoundly regret, but Eric and the two of you will always remain in my heart. Thank you for the joy that you have brought to the world and myself.

Dear Feinberg family,
Eric taught me a lot about living life to the fullest and reminded me always to smile. It was an honor to receive the Rom Bom award along with such an amazing person who I will miss very much. Just like Bobby said, I really do believe that like the song says, I have been changed for the good because I got the chance to know Eric. And because I knew him I believe I have been changed for good. Though Eric was limited he did not act as though he was. He had a lot of gusto and a lot of spirit. He will always be missed and hold a special place in my heart. And I will always remember his wonderful personality.

Dear Steve and Beryl,

I am so saddened to hear of Eric's death.

Steve, you were kind enough to speak to me last year about issues related to my own son's cerebral palsy. I can only hope that Aidan will achieve as much as Eric has.

I know God has a special place for children like ours. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Feinberg,

The sixteen year long friendship between me and Eric is not ever forgotten or wasted. There are so many memories I cherish from my time with him both at Pathways and GBN. Eric was an awesome friend and we found so much to talk about during free periods, (or more likely when Ms. Cooper wasn't looking.)

He has inspired me to have a more positive attitude, and better sense of humor when it comes to my own CP. He taught me that there is never harm in trying, only in never making an attempt. He showed me that no one is perfect, and there is no failure when you have tried your hardest to succeed.

In the fall I will be going to school at Bradley University, to become a special education teacher. I hope that I can bring Eric's message of hope and his enthusiasm for life to my own students. He has taught me so much and I will always hold him close to my heart.

All my love frendship, and sympathy,

Michelle Golden

Dear Beryl and Steven,
It was an privledge knowing Eric. Those expressive eyes and bright smile of his spoke volumes. I'll always remember the way he would sweetly blush when we would tease him about being a flirt. Eric was one of my favorite patients, his determination, strength and love for life were an inspiration even if he was being seen on a "not so good day". I will miss him and I am envious of the lucky angels he's with, who are getting to know that beatiful soul.
