Dear Mrs. Murphy, Mary, Danny, Timmy, and Gary,
I was saddened to hear from Tommy last night of Mr. Murphy's passing. As a kid on Catalpa, to me he was the great dad who lived down the street, and I never saw him without a smile... It secretly made me want to be part of your family. :-) I pray you all have peace that you will see him again in God's time.

Mrs. M, Mary, Tim, Dan & Gary,
It has been many years since I have had the pleasure of seeing any of you - I'm sorry that Mr. Murphy's passing is the reason. I wish you all nothing but the very best. I hope someday my redheaded boy and girl might have the pleasure of consuming one of Mrs. M's cakes as I did in Jr. High.....I may have eaten the entire cake myself in your kitchen. Be together, be strong.

Marion & I are saddened to hear about Emmett. He brought so many gifts to life. I have great memories of the time we spent in Hinsdale with Emmett and the Murphy family when we were kids. We won't forget him. Please accept our deepest sympathy for you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Marie and Family, we are all so very sorry for the loss of Emmett. He was such a good person. I have great memories of him playing sports, and I'm sure he will be hitting those homeruns in heaven too! Only difference - he will be playing for the Angels now. RIP Emmett

Danny, Timmy, Gary, Mary and Mom Murphy... I have such wonderful memories in your home with all of you and certainly Dad Murphy. You are in my thoughts and prayers. He will be greatly missed as he was a great man. Blessings. We are all better for knowing him.
