Emma Patton Obituary

Patton, Emma A. (nee Cannon), age 72, made her transition Thursday, August 13, 2009. She was born in Liberty, MS to the late Jordan and Ollie Mae (Jackson) Cannon. Preceding her in death is beloved husband Rev. Relious H. Patton. After 29 years of service, Emma retired from Jackson Park Hospital and was the former "first lady" and faithful member of Second Mt. Vernon Church. Emma leaves a host of family members and friends to cherish her memory. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Second Mt. Vernon Church, 7922 S. Hoyne Avenue. Funeral service will immediately follow. Interment Lincoln, Beverly and Oak Hill Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Gatling's Chapel, Inc. 773-881-4111.
