Emil became a "friend" to me as soon as I started working with him. He made me feel as if I had known him forever. He would often share stores about his family and travels with me. I so miss his daily greeting of "hello dear". He was a wonderful person and is missed everyday. My prayers are with his family.

DEAR ELAINE, AMY, MICHAEL
I HAD THE HONOR TO NOT ONLY MEET EMIL, BUT WORK WITH HIM ALSO. HE WOULD LIGHT UP A ROOM WITH HIS CHEERFUL ATTITUDE. HE WOULD ALWAYS ASK HOW YOUR DAY IS GOING, AND HOW WAS THE WEEKEND, AND HE REALLY CARED AND WANTED TO HEAR ABOUT IT. NO MATTER HOW BAD A DAY WAS GOING, OR IF THE WEATHER WAS AT ITS WORST, "MICHAEL SAID IT BEST," HE WOULD ALWAYS HAVE THAT BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE AND LAUGH IT AWAY. EMIL TO ME WAS ONE OF THE BEST GUYS I HAVE EVER BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH. HE WAS ALWAYS GOOD FOR A STORY OR 2, OVER A BEER OR 2OR 3 OR 4.......... BUT I AND ALOT OF OTHERS WILL TRUELY MISS CHIEF. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ELAINE, AMY, AND MICHAEL.

Dear Elaine, Amy and, Michael,
The phone call we received on Sunday morning was one we never expected. We can only imagine what a shock it must have been to all of you.
Just as we were all anticipating the holidays and looking forward to spending time together on Christmas Eve like we do every year…… We already miss him so much. We are so thankful to have so many great memories to comfort us. Emil’s warm strong hugs, his smile and, his loud joyful voice! We are so grateful for the times we had with Emil and so saddened for the times we will all miss.
Please know that we are here for you whenever you need us.
Love,
Emil's Brother Ed, Roxanne and
Uncle Moonie's God Children, Sarah and Adam
