Hanson II, Emil H. 93, of Joliet, IL, formerly of Toston, Montana, for 21 years and Norridge, IL, for 34 years, beloved husband of Edna A. (nee Amour), whom he married August 10, 1932, loving father of Rev. Richard J. (Barbara) Hanson of Peoria, Barbara (Don) Harrow of Hoffman Estates, Emil H. III (Diane) of Albuquerque, N.M. and Mabel (Joe) Wohlhart of Schaumburg, cherished grandfather of 18, great-grandfather of 28, brother of the late Peggy and Faith, uncle of many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation Wednesday, 3 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m., at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Rd. Schuamburg. Interment private. Emil had worked as and as newspaper pressman for the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and many Chicago neighborhood newspapers. He was member of Acacia Park Lutheran Church and was a minor league baseball player for the Chicago White Sox in 1932. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Special Olympics of Illinois, 605 E.
