Ellen M. Walsh (nee Hickey), age 77 of Chicago, passed away January 6, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Henry (Ret. CPD) for 43 years; Loving mother of Maureen (Michael) O'Brien, Brian (Nanette) Walsh, Kevin (Geraldine, CPD) Walsh, Patrick Walsh (Carlos Trejo), and Brendan (Dicy) Walsh; Proud grandma of Abigail, Teagan, Emmett, Annamarie, and Kevin Walsh; Dear sister of Laurence (Laura) Hickey, the late John Hickey, Patrick (Bea) Hickey, and Brian (late Kathy, Trish) Hickey; Cherished daughter of the late Laurence "Bud" and Alice (nee O'Boyle) Hickey; Fond aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Visitation Sunday 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.; Funeral Monday, 8:30 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge to St. Linus Catholic Church, 10300 S. Lawler Avenue, Oak Lawn; Mass 9:30 a.m.; Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
