I just heard the news of Ellens passing. Where have the years gone...Ellen and I were best friends in Junior High School and our freshman year at Franklin County. I practically lived at the Liebmans, they were my second family. Ellen was so bright and so funny...I always knew she would reach for the stars! My family moved to Berea in 1969 and our lives took different paths. My heart goes out to Ellen's friends and family. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

We were in Hawaii with Pam's family when we heard the tragic news.

There will long be an empty place in the lives of so many people Ellen touched.Her dignity and bravery were truly amazing.What an example she set--which is why you kids are so special.

We are so sorry for your loss. Throughout the last two years, we would see Ellen walking on Mohawk with her family. The love and caring of the Liebman family was an inspiration to observe. She was a remarkable woman from a remarkable family.

We will all miss Ellen very much. From study groups in law school to vacations in Florida, she showed us her sense of humor and her love of the law.

My heartfelt condolences at the loss of your wife and mother. She was a remarkable woman and she will live on in all of you.

I did not know Ellen "up close and personally" in our high school years of the 70s here in Kentucky, but was an acquaintance through another friend of hers. She was a bright, charismatic person, whom one knew would accomplish much in her life. After reading her obituary, I can see she greatly succeeded--and then some.

Ellen obviously gave her all and made her parents very proud. My sincerest concerns to the family.

It was my pleasure and honor to have known and served with Ellen on various committees at Francis Parker during the four years that my son attended school there. She was a source of courage and inspiration to us all, and throughout the duration of her illness maintained her grace, dignity and sense of humor.
