Zyer, Elizabeth M. "Betty" (nee Hintereder), age 78, beloved wife of the late Benjamin A. Zyer, loving mother of David (Connie), Kenneth (Debra) Zyer and Nancy (Cory) Reiser, cherished grandmother of Elizabeth, Joseph, Thomas, Jillian, Brianna, Katherine, Rick and Andrew, fond niece, cousin and aunt of many. Betty retired from the Andrew Corporation, she is a founding member of the Northshore Concert Band Auxiliary. Chapel prayers 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009 from the Schmaedeke Funeral Home, 10701 South Harlem Ave., Worth. to Saint Julie Billiart Church, Mass 10:15 a.m. Visitation Friday 3 to 9 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, masses are requested or contributions to the Northshore Concert Band, 1555 Sherman Ave., #315 Evanston, IL 60201-4421 appreciated. 708-448-6000.
