Wally and Family, I was saddened to learn that Alice passed away, she was a great person. I remember that my dad spoke of her visiting them when she was a young girl living in Chicago. She will be missed.

Auntie Alice was like no other. Her sense of humor, her laughter and her presence made any occasion special. Her tea cake was outstanding and a gift unto itself.
When I first met her and really wasn't good with the Polish last names, she with a twinkle in her eye and a sly smile said "just call me Mrs. Smith." No one was a stranger.
"Mrs. Smith" you will be missed.....

We are saddened by the passing of our Aunt Alice. She is the last of the 9 silings who's families roots were from just outside Prauge. Her parents came over in 1915...through Ellis Island and on to Chicago.
She was superb family woman who always had a joke or could laugh easily at one. My own family shared many a piece of bakery and many cups of coffee over the years discussing the topics of the day.
My Aunt Alice was strong on conviction governed by her keen sense of humor. She was always complemented by my my Uncle Wally...never overshadowed.
We will always have very fond memories...God bless.

Aunt Alice was always such an upbeat and funny lady. It was always such a pleasure to be around her. Uncle Wally and her were a devoted and loving couple which should be an inspiration to all of us.
