Elizabeth Tovey Obituary

Tovey, Elizabeth F. "Betty" 86, of Orland Park formerly of Tinley Park and Jacksonville, FL passed away at her home Aug 13. She is survived by her son, Robert L. (Christine P. Ward) of Godley; granddaughter, Amanda K. and former daughter-in-law, Carol S. of Surprise, AZ; nephew, Robert (Shirley) Flynn; great-nieces, Jill and Kim Coleman, Robin and Chantelle Flynn, and great-nephew, Gary Coleman. Preceded in death by husband Robert A. in 1991; daughter, Linda S. in 1994. (late John D. 1989) Meier; sister, Eloise Flynn and brother Joseph C. (late Anise) Flynn, Jr. Born in Mayo, FL, Betty and husband Robert moved north after WWII, she was a clerk for National T Grocery store, member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Bremen Post 2791 VFW Women's Auxiliary. Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 18th, 11:00 a.m., at Heartland Memorial Center, 7151 183rd St., Tinley Park. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald Children's Charities. For info. (708) 444-2266.

I am a relative...
I wish to express my sorrow at the passing of my cousin Babe.
I spoke to her the Sunday before her death.
I hope now she has found peace with my cousin Bob and her daughter Linda.
She will be greatly missed.
