Elizabeth Heldt Obituary

Heldt, Elizabeth A. (nee Monter), age 33, of Wilmette and Vernon, NY, died at Evanston Hospital on July 29, 2005, after a long illness, beloved daughter of William Monter of Wilmette and Barbara Heldt of Bass Harbor, ME and Oxford, England, dear step-daughter of Rosellen Monter of Wilmette, Bertrand A. Rice of Chicago and Gerald S. Smith of Oxford, England, cherished sister of Gustav Heldt of Saugerties, NY and Andrea Monter of Baltimore, MD, fond step-sister of Philip Kaplan of Chicago, Brian Kaplan of Algonquin, Ian Smith and Gillian Smith of England. A commemorative gathering will be held Sunday, August 7th, from 4 to 6 p.m., with a time of remembrance at 5 p.m., at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Ave., Wilmette. Memorials to the Crohn's Disease Foundation, 386 Park Avenue South, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10016-8804 or to the animal protection or rescue operation of your choice would be much appreciated. Tho we never met personally I felt you and I were best of friends. People like you come but once a lifetime. I love you and deeply miss you. I look forward to the day we up in Heaven.
