Elizabeth Byrum Obituary

Elizabeth Young Byrum, 81, of Orange, formerly of Lake of the Woods, died Monday, December 20, 2004, at University of Virginia Hospital. Born March 12, 1923, in Seneca, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Sankey B. and Bessie Vera Kiltz Young. In addition to her parents, her husband, Barney Byrum, and a son, Spencer Byrum, also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Larry Byrum and wife, Lauren Forestell, of Orange and a granddaughter, Chelsea Byrum. A graveside funeral service was held December 27, at Culpeper National Cemetery conducted by the Rev. John Farrar. Preddy Funeral Home, Orange, was in charge of arrangements.
