Beth, I remember you, your mother and family from Our Lady of Charity when you lived on Austin Blvd. in Cicero. On a few occasions, when I came to your house and you were not home, your mother welcomed me in and chatted with me. I was always impressed that she never spoke TO me as the kid that I was but WITH me as someone she was happy to see. 'Mothers are our link to our past and buffers to our future.' My sympathy and prayers to you and your family on the loss of this treasured link.

Our love and prayers are for the members of the Liz Beckman Family. We had the privilege of volunteering with Liz at the Ronald McDonald House near Loyola Medical Center for several years. What a wondereful LADY. Always a happy and humorous person, so proud of her English Sheepdogs! This is a sad time for the family but a happy day for all those in Heaven with Jesus Himself welcoming her. We have another "Angel" to intercede for us when we have a problem. God bless all of you!
