I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Family. I just found out about John's passing. My father & I were yearly hunting buddies & trips to the trailer in Wisconsin with John & his brother Al & others in the Hunting Club they were all in.. We had lost contact with them over the years. I will remember him and I am saddened by his passing. We had some great times on them trips to Southern Illinois. I will light a candle in remembrance of John, I have missed his jokes, great stories he told. I looked forward to them & have missed them. Your family are in my prayers.

I remember Uncle John's JOYFUL LAUGH! I remember Pinatas! that never seemed to break until an adult came at it with a bat!!!! He's an Uncle that made you laugh! I remember one story about Mama's sala! I don't know if that's the correct spelling - anyway the families were all in Mama's kitchen - Mama wanted ever in her SALA - nobody was paying attention - Mama was getting upset! Finally Uncle John stands on a chair and very loudly says - EVERYBODY IN THE SALA - MA wants everyone in the SALA! and he made everyone laugh because he made a joke of it! Mama just nodded her head - and then once we were in the Sala everybody would open their comments with - NOW THAT WE'RE IN THE SALA!

My memories of Uncle Johnny was that we would take road trips to Wisconsin and fish and stay in the trailer. Listening to Johnny Cash on the way there. It was his favorite singer artist.
Also going to the Chicago Pier and catching smelt fish, watching him battering and frying the fish as we ate it on the pier...
He will be missed!!!!
Love,
Charmaine
