Elisabeth Buttita Obituary

I was friends with Sara in high school and I'm so sorry for this immense loss. I empathize as I have lost a sibling as well. My prayers are with all of you.

I had the good fortune to work with Elisabeth during her Externship with U.S. EPA in the summer of 2018. She was an extraordinary legal thinker.

Beth was always a kind and thoughtfull friend who, for eleven days, brightened each moment I was with her. I can firmly testify that families are eternal and that you will see her again. She was an angel here on earth and she has truly touched my heart. My prayers are with you. May the lord watch over you.

Beth was unlike any other friend I've ever had. Although we only spent eleven days together in Washington D.C., I grew very close to her. To say that she was a wonderful person would be an understatement. I will keep her note and her pictures always. My heart goes out to her family. She will be greatly missed.

I'm Jackie Flavin's aunt, Laura's sister Mary Beth Smith. Although I only met Beth a couple of times, I feel that I got to know her through Jackie's eyes. She was a lovely young woman who touched many lives in such a short time. Your loss is so enormous - I know that no words can bring relief.
